Each class is taught on one Saturday 8 AM to 4:30 PM at the Des Moines Public Works & Parks Service Center or in Federal Way at The Centre @ Norpoint -- Advanced Registration is required click her for more details

Marine Electronics is presently being revised into three electives Marine Electrical Systems, Marine Communications Systems, and Marine Electronic Systems and may be added to the winter/spring 2008 schedule AFTER new texts are available (summer 2007) and reviewed.

 

Our membership educational benefits at work....A reminder that our Weather class begins this Wednesday 4 Oct 2006 at 7:00 PM at the Des Moines Public Works classroom and runs every Wednesday (except 22 Nov, the Wednesday before Thankgiving) through 29 Nov. If you would like to enroll in the class, please attend on 4 Oct. The cost for the student kit (2 manuals and supporting documents, two exams Wx-101, Basic Weather and Wx-102, Advanced Weather) is $49.00 for each student. Please make checks payable to PBPS.
